Andrew Patterson is an artist and designer based in Toronto, ON. His work is largely focused on the topic of identity and challenging the traditional ways we define it, and falls into two stylistic approaches; portraiture and geometric abstraction.

This piece is part of an ongoing series formerly known as Mesmo Kabuki, which combines elements from diverse cultural visual traditions to create new harmonious fictions. The myths that bring us together need to be stronger than the ones that keep us apart, and these figures represent aspects of a future pantheon where love, respect, and unity prevail.
